Happy Birthday, Almond!
Today is Almond's birthday.
We were talking about his and Berry's birthdays a few days earlier, but unfortunately, no one remembered it today. It only occured to me that it's his special day only just now. I guess it must be due to what happened yesterday. Both he and Berry dugged holes in the garden, and were punished by my dad. So I guess no one was in the mood to remember it. Feeling guilty, I went up to Almond and sang him the "Happy Birthday" song. Both he and Berry looked at me with question-marks on their faces. Then I gave them some tidbits before locking them up for the night.
Almond, I promise we'll remember your birthday every year from now on, no matter what happens.
