I've Finally Updated...

After nearly 2 months of " sleep", my blog has finally " woken" up again.

I had been really busy (thus too tired to blog) with the conservatory with graduation recitals and concerts, and with 5 more graduation recitals to go, I can sort of, relax a little to blog.

During this period, I have mainly :
* attended numerous concerts at the Conservatory and also a handful of SSO concerts;
* watched 2 movies;
* had a qigong-healing session with a qigong master from China;
* Chinese New Year usual routine;
* attended Sa Chen piano recital;
* attended Chick Corea's concert;
* attended Tony's jazz class at the Conservatory;
* played for 13 graduation recitals at the Conservatory;
* played for Cellissimo concert; and
* had tons of rehearsals and lessons at the Conservatory.

Last night, Zhou Mi and Gao Quan treated my sis and I to dinner at New York, New York restaurant at City Link. I had fish and chips and the portion was too big for me to finish, but it was quite delicious. We then had fruits-and-chocolate fondu for dessert. We had lots of fun and laughter chit-chatting about anything and both ZM and GQ really make a very cute and loving couple. SIGH! :P

After dinner, we parted ways and my sis and I went to Brown Sugar to attend Kwai Sum's post-birthday party, after which, we went to Jazz@Southbridge to support Tony and Wai Lun. We met Jon there and he kindly bought us drinks. Wai Lun and Diana came later and we chatted while listening to Tony play. Mario, the jazz pianist was really good, and I'm thinking of learning jazz piano with him.

Wai Lun later joined them in 2 numbers, and he sang and played on the trumpet. He's really brave and I must say, really good for a first-timer in a public jazz performance. We're all very proud of him.

Later, we had some fried chicken wings to munch on while chatting, and by the time we decided to go home, it was already after midnight. We were tired but what an enjoyable evening it was! :)
